Volleyball Stadium

/ 2013

How can a structural principle compose a space ?

This experimental project brings a volleyball stadium to life, derived from the attack posture of a volleyball player suspended in the air. By applying the thin-shell concrete structure, this design breathes as much excitement into the space as scoring a game-winning point.

The stadium includes two courts. The second-floor court is dedicated to official competition with audience seating, and the basement-level court is designed for practice and warm-up preparation.
